IN VITRO
a performance/intervention in the public space
Tags: dance, theatre, performance, site-specific, intervention, 48 Stunden NK 2021, public space
A plexiglass box in the public space. Inside stands a bizarre creature. She is focused on a simple, constant action: inhaling and exhaling. IN VITRO explores breath as a metaphor of personal freedom. Using respiration as an impulse for dramatic material, the piece translates breath into choreography in order to make a statement about the modern lifestyle.
Supported by Fonds Darstellende Künste with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media
Dates: 19+20.06 2021
Place: Passage, Karl-Marx-Str.131.
